       Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1780–1839), founder of the Sikh empire who forged a modern empire of toleration and who famously owned the Koh-i-Noor diamond, has been voted the greatest leader in world history in a poll by BBC World Histories Magazine.

    Maharaja Ranjit Singh, popularly known as Sher-e-Punjab or "Lion of Punjab", ruled the northwest Indian subcontinent in the early half of the 19th century. 

            I have written Poem  in Punjabi and video prepared with the help of my son S Bhupinder Singh. S Jagdeep Singh Kirat World has designed this poem and video of the same has been edited by respected friend Dr. Pritam Singh Saini of USA. Sh. has Raman Arora posted it on Website.    ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ੇਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ  ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਚਲਾਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ । ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੁੰਮਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਈਆਂ ।  ਓਨਾਂ  ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੈ।
